Is There a Memetic Rivalry?

The more that their rival wants something, the more that they want it to or. There's this funny phenomenon of rejecting whatever the rival wants in order to sort of differentiate yourself. And that's kind of what a memetic rivalry is all about. We're jumping all the way from high level philosophy to the subconscious, inner workings of desire to gocheman. I love it.
