The Future of Low Volatility ETFs
One of the things that differentiates this cycle is how quality and low volatility type of historical volatility investments have gotten so expensive. And I think that goes back to sort of the low risk free rates where some of these high quality equities are being priced as almost risk free long term perpetual bonds, which they're not. So historically, yes, they've been much less volatile. But given the price people are paying for these high quality investments, I think in the future, you could see much different volatility metrics than you see you've seen in the past.
