The Importance of Self-Optimisation in Running

There's a sort of sentiment around don't change what isn't broken. So can you speak to this concept of self-optimising and hey, the body's already got it figured out? Some runners do adapt aspects of their biomechanics to make us more efficient but some people don't. And in those people who don't maybe helping to facilitate that learning of those movement patterns may help them to become more economical and reduce the risk associated with injury.
