The Euro Against the Dollar: Is Germany in a Recession?
The retail sales number from Germany, they don't look particularly good today. Factory orders in March were down 10% on the whole issue. It would be a major surprise if it actually showed up as a recession right now. Every institutional PM that I meet right now, have sort of gotten to the conclusion that Europe is part the shielded from what's going on globally when it comes to the criticism stress in the US.
