Raymond Carroll's Perjury Trial

The perjury trial lasted for 18 days. Given the amount of time that had passed since Deirdre's murder, the judge instructed the jury to be careful when considering the various witness testimonies. Handing down the maximum sentence of 14 years imprisonment,. But it is necessary to bear in mind that the sentence being imposed is for perjury, not for murder.
