What Is Odotism?
Otism is a lack of the otherwise innate ability to attribute an inner life to other people and to oneself, mental states, feelings, ideas, knowledge. Artistic infants are not born with this ability - it puts development on quite a different track. Theory has big implications for our interest in communicating our inner thoughts because we know have different sorts in our heads.
