i think that the press and media don't understand is that if a small business is to be successful, it's not about necessarily being just really good people. And maybe a bad manager, it's been like fi can viet nam. You have to be harsh, scrappy and almost rapacious. If someone's not doing their job ind a start up, you got to fire them and find someone right away. i've never been in mall business and never run a small business without a certain level of full body contact violence that a lot of people would shudder at.
