I thought people would be like, how could you do that to C++? How could you betray WG 21 like this? And that has been the case at all. I hope it ends up with a language that I get to teach and work in for a real long time. But even if it totally flames out, there will have been lessons learned. That is a great question to ask. There are things about C ++ that make it hard to write a compiler,. but they also make ithard to teach or to work in sometimes.
