The Colouring of the Street
Booth was a parish priest in liverpool who did some survey work. He colour coded the streets with religion, social and morals. The maps are very beautiful but he never talks about morality or immorality once you're into pink, red and yellow. That's a sense of you being sy drunken, feckless parasitical is reserved purely for the written testimony relating to black, dark blue and light blue, and occasionally purple.
