The Importance of Beliefs in Home Ownership

FOMO is hardwired into our brains. We saw this back in 2008 where people were doing what in retrospect seemed like crazy behaviors because they saw other people buying homes. It's really, really difficult to sit still and to think rationally when two or three of our friends are buying homes. And it feels like I'm going to die if I keep renting, which sounds ridiculous, but that's what happens at that deep emotional level.
