The Origins of Obio
The Hellenistic period for Obio is tumultuous. Ultimately, Obio cannot survive on its own. It has always relied on a strong outside influence. So they start to see art that uses the Greek obsession with the human form. And so you see these beautiful pieces of art that kind of mix the expertise of the Scythians with the artistic fashions of the Greeks. They kind of combine and produce something really quite unique that you don't see anywhere else.
