The Orangutan's Nest

The orangutan's diet in the wild is not constant, so they have periods of abundance and then long periods where fruits are very scarce. The research team wanted to know if fats and carbs passed through them as fat during this period. They used a sophisticated instrument that caught urine before it hit the ground after an orangutan urinated. It was also able to analyze the biological content of the urine.
