The Importance of Being Asian American

The writer, the adapter of it was a novel that was adapted into the screenplay by my friend, Brian Yorkie. The character in the book wasn't Asian American, but he made him Asian American because he remembered that in our school, it wasn't just white guys that were the jocks,. It was Asian guys too. And they depict that well too. So Japanese Americans have been around like myself for generations and generations. My ancestors came to United States 120 something years ago around the turn of the century, you know, around 1900. They were farmers who were barely holding on. There was this movement politically to get rid of them.
