How Did You Come to Explore Metaphors of Education Technology?

A few years ago, I wrote a book called 25 years of ed tech. It was based on a series of blog posts where I took one technology from each year and tried to think about how that had been significant for education technology. And in many ways, this is like a companion piece, although it kind of stands alone. Part of the book is about kind of helping people get their defenses up, you know, how to spot when you're being sold a metaphor.
