Linea t v still makes up most of the money that channel fol gets. On many nights, channel fall 's struggling to get over a million viewers. If you view channel four as a way of making experimental t v that doesn't cost the tax payer anything, almost like an incubator for new programmes, then there is a pretty strong case for it.
