Getting Unemployment Down Is Good, but It's About the Quality of the Jobs
The morosy government tries to sell this narrative that it got strait through the pandamic. The budget papers say that consumer spending will grow because households will use half of their savings. So getting unemployment down is good, there's no question about that. But it's also about the quality of the jobs. It's about not having to work two or three or four of them just to survive. We actually need a labor government now to come in and repair the damage that's bein done to the budget.
