Dr. Kahn Burns is the head of coaching science at Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) He started his career as a physical education teacher in Limerick, Ireland. His PhD research looked at correlates of participation in both physical activity and sport in the EU. In 2007 he moved to CIT from what was then University of Limerick where he worked until now.
