The Battle of Manila
The 511th landed on the top of that ridge line to then start punching their way north to Manila. This is a big parachute drop, you know, the tourists in Europe for being dropped here, they're everywhere. How does it go with this mass drop? It took them three lifts. They did two lifts on one day and then a third the next morning. The initial objectives were merely just basically securing that that drop zone area by seizing road intersections and things like that.
