The Disappointment of Russians
I think Russia's too much like me, dry and cruel. Russians really are very heavy and intellectual and judgmental. They just make Americans are stupid at some extent. I do feel like there was some way in which Russians were disturbing to me because I felt like they're like me, but in other contexts. It seems like the most uninteresting way to do pastiche. You know, it's letting the poem do all the work, you know, just knocking out some words. Anyways, there's lots of things like that, including avant-garde styles being canonized.
