What Are the Challenges of Distributed Teams?

Companies tend to write things down more. And i think that's actually quite important. The most common rebuke i'll hear is, don't you just want to be able to get the right people together at the at the water cooler and make a decision? I quest what kind of thoughtful process are you going to get out of that, out of that dynamic? But there are some signals that it leads to that i think distribute team just tend to work better.
