Portal Is Not a 30 Hour Game
Portal is not a 30 hour game, which was good because i played portal when i review. It's easy to forget just how subversive it was and the fact that you think you're playing one kind of game but then weird things start happening. The game really has like, no guard rails at all - there's nothing keeping you from creating your own personal velocity hell. I don't know that i've had that experience with any other game since,. where it sort of takes one genre and totally subverts it.
