The Importance of Explanation in Teaching

Has teaching changed how you approach your own writing? I think it's given me a lot to think about. And in reading every craft book under the sun, I've definitely come away with some new stuff. There are things that I was doing naturally that now I do with a little bit more care than before. My theory of story collections is this, the first collection is to tell people who you are,.
