Dealing With Alligators
Don't walk your dog near the water's edge. If an alligator isn't threatening you just leave it alone. The florida fish and wild life conservation commission runs something called the state wide nuisance alligator hot line. Residents are encouraged to call the hot line if they see an alligator over four feet long and feel like it's a threat to people, pets or their home.
