Open collective has an inherently sort of decentralized and slightly complex structure. I call open collective a swiss army knife of legal entities. We raised three million dollars from very values olind investers who aren't pushing us to exploit users, or maximis growth at all costs. Most venture capital funded companies have to go there. That's how the whole structure is set up. The model is a v c invests in hundreds or thousands of early stage companies,. hoping that a couple of them will become unicorns.
