And now the low post podcast on a Thursday stormy night all across the country. I wish everybody a happy holidays. I hope not too many of you are having travel nightmares. But if you are, maybe this podcast can help you ignore your family and the general madness of the airport. It's time to talk about two of my basketball siren songs to teams that no matter what, no matter how much they hurt their fans. No matter how many times they disappoint, no matter how many times they get injured at key moments, whatever it is, I can't quit them. I'll never quit them. One team, I think I feel like I have a healthy relationship. This first team, it's not healthy. It's not healthy. It's a problem. But here they come. As the song says, here come the Sixers. Here they come Philadelphia winners of six straight, not even healthy at Tyrese Maxi is still out. In 18 and 12, the Philadelphia 76ers to help us digest them and where they rank in the east, the one and only Kevin Peltin. How are you, sir?

I'm doing well. I believe they're winners of one, two, three,

four, five, sixers. One, two, three, four, five, sixers. 10, nine, eight, 76ers. It's the dumbest song, but it's the best song. It's the best song. And if people don't know what I'm talking about, it's the song they play at the end of every Sixers win in Philadelphia and it's called, here come the Sixers. It's basically a Sesame Street song about basketball and it's amazing. And here they come. Here they come. I like to have you on to talk about Sixers because normally I have Spike Eskin and Mike Levin from the rights to Ricky Sanchez and they're so, they're so emotionally invested

can in the best possible way go completely bonkers talking about the Sixers and I need your cool, calming perspective on this team. They were in my inner circle of contenders before the season started. There were six teams in that inner circle. They were one. I asked everybody before the season, why not the Sixers? I mean, why not other than James Harden's record of basically running for the exits and elimination games? So why not the Sixers? Then they came out and looked slow and disinterested, frankly arrogant, the way they started the season. Then Harden and Maxie got hurt and this sort of scrappy, melted, milted, backed up skeleton crew came in, kept them afloat. Now Harden's back looking, oh, looking good. Not looking Houston good, not even Brooklyn good, but looking good. The supporting cast has stayed pretty damn productive. Tyree Smaxie's going to come back. Celtics, Celtics falling back to earth a little bit. I think they've lost four of six. Their offense is down big time. They've actually fallen out of the top spot in offensive efficiency. Bucks just nobody talks about the Bucks. They were my pick to win the title. They're doing fine. How do we feel about the Sixers?
