Caesar Crosses the Rubicon River

In 49 BC, Caesar tried to negotiate a mutual disarmament of both his and Pompeii's armies. But the negotiations continued into 49 BC and Caesar again suggested mutual disarmament. The Senators angrily rejected it without debate and issued a Cinnitus Consultus Ultimum against Caesar. This is the same degree they passed if we'll remember against the grocky. And so instead of disbanding, Caesar marched on Rome.
