How Cloud Sitting Can Produce More Snow

Katya primarily does for research in the Rocky Mountains, the tall mountain range that runs down the middle of the United States. Most of her research is trying to show that cloud seating can produce more snow. But she says it can also be used to produce rain or even to mitigate the growth of hail. Putting super cold liquid into a few hailstones, you're just basically distributing this over smaller hailstones and the idea is that for farmers, if they have smaller hailstone, it has less of an impact than really big hailstones.
