There is a clear pushback to just open the floodgate on quarterback contracts. Lamar Jackson, the closer and closer he gets to free agency, has lost his lever that he should have held out two years ago. If it were Joe Burrow vying for this contract, I just think there'd be more interest in him than other quarterbacks. The Falcons took over like Twitter for 10 minutes where it's like, this is the land I'm going to say.
