The US Treasury Just Hired the Russian Mafia

This is like reading a headline and saying the US Treasury just hired the Russian mafia to sell securities for it. The conflicts of interest are longer than Webster's dictionary here. You don't have other people you can go to, other asset managers. Why do you have to go to the same one you want to begin with? It's kind of like delegating the governance of the central bank in the US government to the Russian mafia.
