Public health professionals say they are uncomfortable with a greater role of intelligence in things like disease surveillance and pendemic preparedness. The use of intelligence on public health issues raises the risk that health agencies may be viewed by some, especially over seas, as intelligence agencies themselves. But i think we hade to also look at it from the other side of the coin. And when i was watching the early days of the coved pandamic and i saw what was going on in the cruise ships, my first thought was navy. Then we saw the outbreak on one of our naval cruisers, and i just realized that we just taught enemies how to knock out our navy. We have to get really serious
