What Is the Relevance of the Development of Capitalism?

I think that there is truth in the obvious comment that sometimes what you have to do for your survival is as boring as hell. But if it's necessary, I mean, a pro-capitalist person wouldn't complain about this if he was in a bad situation. The idea of selfishness of a process might be if it did, how do you explain it? He did not usually use the term selfish in condemning capitalism. His more frequent term was antisocial or alienating because of his doctrine of self-fulfillment.
