Petan's Trial Is in Early October of 19 Forty Five
Tan's defence claimed that he had been playing a double game throughout the war. He was found guilty of treason and was condemned to death. The court recommended then that his sentence should be commuted to life imprisonment. Tan will stay there until his death in july of 19 51, at the age 95. But before he was to be executed, he swallowed a asyanide pill. His stomach was pumped repeatedly, and he was actually dragged basically half dead to his execution on october fifteenth.
