The Risk of Carcinogens in Organic Food

When you talk about food not affecting the genetics, what pops up for me is thinking about our food system these days. We're putting chemicals on a lot of that conventional food, spraying with pesticides, herbicides, and then process foods,. arguably we could call those something totally different. They don't even fit under the real food category. So what I'm curious is your thoughts on those two categories specifically? Could those specifically impact the genetics? It's possible. But again, the risk is hard to quantify because it's probably relatively small compared to, say, obesity.
