Brian is Mexicano, a Mexican national by birth, but Spanish is his second language. Brian has never been able to return to his family or his home country since leaving Verde Cruz-Majico as a two-year-old. Traveling outside the authorization period may result in termination of DACA. Four months later, after three decades living in LA, Brian was getting that chance.
