How to Use Virtual Reality to Cure Your Fears

Self-guided virtual reality therapy gives the person greater perceived control over their fears. Participants do say that they are able to speak more fluently in VR. The advantage of virtual reality is you can do it in a controlled manner without the fear of the risk going out of proportion. It's not real people and it's in a more controlled environment. There's no risk if you had people in an audience trying to stand up and get up and go which can be very disconcerting. But doing that in a virtual audience in mind kind of tells you this is virtual so I can handle it and I can engage with them so it hopefully gives you some confidence.
