Willie Sutton and John Egan in Sing Sing

Willie Sutton was sent to Sing Sing prison after robbing a jewelry store. He and another inmate, John Egan, used hacksaw blades to remove the lower bars of their cell. There is speculation that he had inside help from a prison guard. But it's cooler to imagine that he just pulled a bobby pin out of his hair.
