Labour's Fiscal Responsibility Policy
Labour were really spooked by that front page of the eye a couple of months ago, where the eye had costed a whole load of Labour policies and suggested in their research that a lot of them were unfunded. A key part of the message is all of the things that we want to do, we have thought about the finances. We're not getting out the big blank checkbook. But there's a way to answer that question that makes clear that Labour finds the current policy, lacks compassion and is cruel - but without committing.
