How to Overcome Preference Falsification in the Age of Social Media

In the era of social media, preference falsification has been increasing among young people. But you don't want to like slip into brain dead ideological fervor, right? If I could ask you about one of your social or political positions, and you gave it to me, that's a problem. That person is really sunk into a cult of belief. And so we should respectfully say, hey, where did this tradition of not playing with face cards come from? Is that still relevant today?
