The Effects of Psychological Threats on the No-Susceptive System

We have to understand that psychological threats are a thing, but we have to treat them as a continuous stimuli across time. We see that repetitive threats or noxious events cause an upregulation of our no-susceptive apparatus. But it's not like we can't enter a pain state out of the ether, out of the pure mind. It just doesn't work like that. If every little clap, stardyl dustin will get like pain all around our body, I'm not sure we would be able to function correctly.
