The Idealism of the Physics

Bishop Berkeley is one of the most famous textbook idealists in Western philosophy. What he got right is that it's indeed all mental I think what he got wrong is the idea that our perceptions have some kind of stand alone existence. Schopenhauer came one generation after Kant so they were contemporaries. He got everything right except his misogynism. It's questionable whether he was a true pessimist but we don't want to go there.
