Ruth and the Foreigner

Ruth is a short book, it's only four chapters. We like to describe it as a novella in that it has this really lovely complete structure. The story begins in Bethlehem with a family for first introduced to the father, a limalek,. His wife, Naomi, and then their two sons, Malan and Killian. They're in Bethlehem in the area of Ephrata; fruitful means plenty. And then a famine comes and the family is forced to migrate to Moab.
