Ezra Stiles and Caragal
Ezra Stiles' diary, which is published, like the printed version is published in 1903. And I remember reading it for the first time and you see he's like interacting with these rabbis. He had such reverence for this rabbi that he had his portrait drawn up for, you know, that now hangs in the Yale art galleries. But what I was thinking of was if anybody visits the galleries at Yale, there's a portrait of Caragal hanging up in there that was commissioned, apparently, by Stiles himself.
