The Economics of Rural Electricity
Even in the US, right, the Rural Electrification Act was basically just let's pump federal money and build out a grid and give people power. And so why would we expect it to be different in other countries? Well, and the grid like it's not economics. The grid isn't being built there, but then there's this sort of double standard that, oh, well, if you're going to build a mini grid there, it should be economic. So I don't know what like, it is weird to call it uneconomic because it's literally like two different lifestyles in a way. But for a given amount of subsidy, if we just like build a bunch of wires
