According to Lee Hendrix was considering putting together a new band with Lee and Steve Wimwood, but died before the group got together. Eric Clapton and Robert Plant persuaded Robert Stigwood to sign lead to his label. He spent part of the late 70s caring for his term the L-Stepfather,. Then spent the 80s getting into legal trouble, and playing bad gigs with bad backing bands. Robin Hitchcock recorded a song called The Wreck of the R.A.T.L.A. in 1993. A song from one of those bad albums were covered by Mazi Starr on their 1993 platinum selling album So Tonight The Time Might See.
