Heroku is a cloud-based service that allows developers to run their own apps on the web. The platform has two types of infrastructure: static and dynamic. Developers can ask for changes via pull request process or in design meetings. Heroku was founded by Eric Schmidt, who also runs Google's Cloud Foundry.
