Know Your Enemy

CHAPTER

The Chosen Drama and the Chosened Glory

The chosen drama is understood as a touchstone historyc that in some ways establishes chosen ness for a people. The glory is like the thing that the drama takes from you, right? Or it's the golden age that this one terrible event then changed everything around. You are defined by your group participation in being dramatized. And there are enemies as a result of this. This regularly maps out into a later, subsequent enactment of inflicting some variation of that drama on those people as a kind of revenge or to get back that glory.
