How Do You Position Your Relationship With Theological Interpretation?

I know there's the theological interpretation of Scripture pathway that some have tried to carve out. I'm curious where you've positioned yourself in that sense. Are there any models that you've had of people that have integrated those well? And how do you position your relationship to other scholars who have pursued that endeavor?
