The Importance of Private Property in Marxism

For Marx, there's a special kind of private property called capital. If you have your own property and can do whatever you want with it, you can also turn it into capital. The bourgeoisie has created an ideology called capitalism that justifies why they get it. And other people don't. This sets up a structure of society which is determinant on how you are. Once the masses are awakened to this class antagonism by having it revealed to them, they can engage in a revolutionary class struggle.
