Mavericks were close to trading Josh Green for Reggie Bullock and Tim Hardaway, Jr. It was apparently because the sons didn't want the G to be included in the trade which doesn't make remotely any sense to me. I honestly think that long term, I understand the money difference with him, um, opting out in the maximum amount that Denver's able to pay him versus what he can receive on the open market right now. Like I get it, but I honestly feel like he will maximize his earnings as a player in Denver if he just stays in Denver for the rest of his career so long as they'll have him.
