i think the main reason we wanted to do this podcast was to talk about some of the shortcomings in the way they analyze it. i want to start with a kind of criticism that you see actually coming from that lukanof and hate book, where i got the anecdote from andi. They list a series of what they call great untruths, that are at the core of the campus, callout culture. And one of them is the idea that life is a battle between good people and evil people. This is an idea that i think they get from philosophy, and it's usually advanced as a principle for interpreting a text of an author who you don't necessarily agree
